    Role Overview

    We are looking for a Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business, legal domain stakeholders, and technology teams. The role focuses on gathering requirements, improving platform features, optimizing legal workflows, and supporting data-driven decision-making for the Jupitice ecosystem.

    Key Responsibilities

    Business & Requirement Analysis

    • Gather, analyse, and document business requirements from legal professionals, internal teams, and platform stakeholders.
    • Translate complex legal and justice process requirements into clear functional and technical specifications.
    • Prepare BRDs, FRDs, user stories, use cases, and process flows.

    Product & Platform Support

    • Work closely with Product Managers, Developers, UX/UI designers, and QA teams.
    • Participate in UAT, feature validation, and release planning.

    Data & Process Improvement

    • Analyse platform data to identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
    • Define KPIs, dashboards, and reports for business and product teams.
    • Recommend process optimizations to improve user experience and operational efficiency.

    Stakeholder Management

    • Act as a liaison between legal domain experts and technical teams.
    • Conduct workshops, demos, and requirement walkthroughs.
    • Ensure alignment between business goals and technology solutions.

    Required Skills & Qualifications

    Core Skills

    • Strong experience in Business Analysis (Agile / Scrum preferred).
    • Hands-on experience with user stories, acceptance criteria, and backlog grooming.
    • Excellent documentation and communication skills.
    • Ability to understand and simplify legal processes and terminology.

    Domain & Tools

    Exposure to legal-tech, justice systems, or regulatory platforms (preferred).

    Familiarity with tools like:

    • JIRA / Confluence
    • SQL / Excel / BI tools (basic to intermediate)
    • Wireframing tools

    Soft Skills

    Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.

    Ability to work in fast-paced startup environments.

    Stakeholder management and negotiation skills.

    Good to Have

    • Prior experience working with law firms, courts, or justice-related platforms.
    • Understanding of digital transformation in legal services.
    • Exposure to API-based systems and integrations.
